Think you know our airport? From an underground passageway to the size of our campus, we've got some fast facts to surprise even our biggest fans.

  1. In 2016, the Clark County Department of Aviation (CCDOA) constructed a 995-foot-long underground tunnel connecting the northeast wing of the D Concourse at Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) with the Customs and Border Protection Port of Entry at Terminal 3. The tunnel features iconic Las Vegas imagery and a replica “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign and more than doubled the airport’s capacity to welcome direct international flights.

  2. CCDOA, airport tenants and airlines employ more than 18,000 people.

  3. LAS has eight miles of runways and 24 miles of taxiways. Two sets of parallel runways (8/26 Left & Right and 1/19 Left & Right) combine for a total of four.

  4. At more than 14,500 feet, Runway 8L-26R is the second-longest commercial runway in North America.

  5. Located just two miles from the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, the LAS campus covers more than 2,800 acres.
