There are five TSA security checkpoints at LAS — three in Terminal 1 and two in Terminal 3. For a stress-free checkpoint experience, know before you come to the airport what you can bring in your carry-on luggage. And allow yourself plenty of time. TSA recommends arriving two hours early for domestic flights and three hours prior to international flights.

FAQs
TSA has a comprehensive list of items permitted in checked luggage and carry-on bags: TSA: What Can I Bring?
In the event you arrive at the airport without proper ID because it is lost or at home, you may still be allowed to fly. By providing additional information, TSA has other ways to confirm your identity, including using publicly available databases, so you can reach your flight. If your identity cannot be verified, you will not be allowed to enter the screening checkpoint.
Normally, only ticketed passengers are permitted beyond the security checkpoints, but exceptions may be made to assist unaccompanied minors or passengers with special needs. Contact your airline to make arrangements and obtain the necessary documentation.
