With Labor Day Weekend around the corner, Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) encourages travelers to use these tips to navigate the airport with ease.

Arrivals Made Easy

Use the Cell Phone Lot: Avoid traffic jams – wait for your party in the free Cell Phone Lot on Kitty

Hawk Way, open daily from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m.

Smart Pickups: Coordinate pickup at the numbered columns in passenger pickup areas for faster connections.

Skip the Curb Hassle: Parking at the curb is not allowed. If your guests aren’t ready, use Short-Term Parking (first 15 minutes are free) or loop back to the Cell Phone Lot.

Allow for Additional Travel Time to the Airport

Tunnel Pavement Project: The Airport Connector Tunnel is undergoing a repavement project. The northbound and southbound tunnels will be reduced to two lanes daily from 5 a.m. to midnight. Overnight, both directions are reduced to one lane from midnight to 5 a.m., Sunday through Friday. Travelers and motorists using the Airport Connector Tunnels are encouraged to plan ahead throughout the construction and allow for extra travel time.

Other Roadway Construction: The Tunnel Pavement Project is separate from the Clark County Public Works Interstate 215 and Airport Connector Interchange Project, as well as the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) Sunset Road Paving Project. For information on the Clark County Public Works projects, call (702) 455-6000 or email InTheWorks@clarkcounty.gov. For information on the DOT project, call (775) 888-7000 or visit dot.nv.gov. Please allow for additional travel time to the airport.
