Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) closed 2025 with nearly 55 million passengers, marking the third-highest annual total in the airport’s history, following two record-setting years. LAS maintained direct connectivity to more than 170 markets, reflecting the airport’s diverse air service portfolio as a key origin-and-destination airport.

Amid industry-wide shifts, LAS maintained full operations during the longest federal government shutdown in U.S. history and became a national leader in supporting unpaid federal workers through a donated Food & Essentials Pantry. Coordination with airline, government, and community partners ensured uninterrupted operations and reliable service that continued to support Southern Nevada’s economy.

That operational stability allowed the Clark County Department of Aviation to continue advancing improvements focused on safety, accessibility, and the overall passenger experience. In 2025, LAS completed several key initiatives, including:

• Adding new Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) vehicles to strengthen emergency response capabilities.

• Implementing real-time TSA wait times on Flight Information Display Screens (FIDS) throughout the terminals.

• Launching a new airport website to improve navigation, mobile usability and accessibility.

• Partnering with Aira ASL mobile application for interpretation services that support travelers who are deaf or hard-of-hearing.

• Opening two new premium lounges – Capital One at D-Gates and Chase Sapphire at C-Gates, along with several new retail, and food and beverage options to enhance the overall passenger experience.

• Introducingthe “Gateway to Everything” campaign, reinforcing LAS’ role as the first and last look at the destination.

Looking ahead, LAS will continue to expand its international air service portfolio, highlighted by Air France’s new seasonal nonstop service between Las Vegas and Paris, scheduled to begin April 15. The route will provide travelers with access to more than 120 onward markets, strengthening Las Vegas’ global reach.

LAS is also advancing modernization and capacity planning efforts to meet future aviation needs in Southern Nevada. Work is underway across the airport to increase efficiency and enhance the passenger experience, while planning for the Southern Nevada Supplemental Airport (SNSA) continues through the federally required Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) process. These initiatives position the region’s airport system to support long-term growth, major global events, and future travel demand.
