Non-Discrimination Statement - Title VI

Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act provides that no person in the United States shall, on the grounds of race, color, or national origin be excluded from participation in, be denied benefits of or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance. Clark County is committed and fully complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and related statutes and regulations, in all programs and activities.

Making a Title VI Complaint

Any person who believes that they have been excluded, denied benefits, or been subjected to discrimination may file a written complaint with Clark County within 180 days following the date of the alleged discriminatory occurrence. Clark County will notify and forward the complaint to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) within 15 days of receipt along with resolution efforts being taken. Citizens can also file a complaint within 180 days of the date of the alleged discrimination with an appropriate outside agency, such as:

Airport Tenant and Service Provider Complaint Procedure

If the ADA Coordinator finds that an alleged violation involves a tenant or service provider, the ADA Coordinator will notify the appropriate representative. The ADA Coordinator will also notify the complainant that the matter is being investigated by the airport tenant, or service provider.

The ADA Coordinator will forward all wheelchair-related complaints directly to the airline and wheelchair service provider and will request that the airline, or service provider investigate the allegation set forth in the complaint, and to coordinate the investigation results and resolution with the ADA Coordinator. The ADA Coordinator will coordinate the transmittal of the response to the complainant with the tenant or service provider.
